Inkább ezt a 12 sci-fi sorozatot támasztanánk fel a Heroes helyett

A hétvége híre volt, hogy az NBC úgy döntött, újraindítja a Heroest, ezúttal egy 13 epizódos minisorozatként. Az io9 nyomán mi is feltesszük a kérdést az olvasóknak: melyik az a sci-fi sorozat, ami jobban megérdemelné azt, hogy egy új esélyt kapjon? A kommentekben várjuk a válaszaitokat, előtte azonban az SFportal stábjának tagjai is elmondják a kedvenceiket.

Néhány hete Tim Minear vetette fel, hogy annak ellenére is tovább lehetne folytatni a Fireflyt, hogy a stáb összes tagja továbblépett már: Nathan Fillion megemberesedve játszik a Castle-ben, Adam Baldwin azóta már lenyomott öt komplett évadot a Chuck-ban, és legközelebb a The Last Ship című sorozatban láthatjuk. Hja, és Joss Whedon igazából semmi érdekeset nem csinál, csak épp a Marvel-ügyi atyaúristen szerepét tölti be.

Ezzel együtt is, Minear szerint egy igazán mini minisorozatot lehetne csinálni pluszban a Firefly-hoz, nem kell 13 epizódosnak lennie, hanem lehetne mondjuk olyan hosszú, mint a BBC-s Sherlock. Minear nálam jobban ért a televíziózáshoz, úgyhogy én hiszek neki, tessék csak megcsinálni a dolgot.

Ami emellett igazán hiányzik az életemből, az a Stargate univerzuma: megértem, hogy miért nem tetszett sokaknak a Universe, de akkor is többet érdemelt volna annál, mintsem ilyen csúnyán elkaszálják, pont akkor, amikor kezdte kinőni azon hibáit, amik miatt utálták az SG-1 és az Atlantis rajongói. Éppen ideje lenne annak, hogy a Destiny végre megérkezzen valahová és történjen valami előrelépés a Stargate kapcsán – és ez alatt nem azt értem, hogy  Roland Emmerich fogja magát, lenullázza az egészet, és csinál egy rebootot, ahogy azt tervezgeti Szerintem egy Sherlock-hosszúságú minisorozattal meg lehetne oldani három problémát is:

a., le lehetne zárni tisztességesen a Universe történetvonalát

b., meg lehetne csinálni végre egy igazi crossovert a három sorozat között: bár minimális átjárkálás volt az SG-1 – Atlantis – Universe csapatai között, valódi együttműködés a stábok között egyszer fordult elő, a The Pegasus Project című epizódban. Ha valamit megmutatott az Avengers, hát az az, hogy jópofa dolgok sülhetnek ki abból, ha különböző hősök kénytelenek összefogni egy cél érdekében.

c., megtisztíthatná a terepet, hogy aztán egy vadiúj Stargate sorozatot lehessen csinálni.

Ha azonban csak egy kívánságom lehetne sorozatügyileg, akkor viszont egy új Babylon 5 szériát szeretnék, fix 5 évados megrendeléssel, és hogy J. Michael Straczynski kapjon meg minden pénzt, paripát, fegyvert, ami ennek a megvalósításához kell.

Én szerencsés helyzetben vagyok valamilyen szinten, hiszen abszolút kedvenc gyereksorozatomat, a Power kapitány rebootolásának már tavaly nekiálltak Phoenix Rising címen, a kedvenc geek sorozatom, a Chuck lehetséges filmes folytatásán meg Zachary Levy ügyködik, szóval két kedvencem visszatérésére is nagy esély van (sőt, mivel a Phoenix Risingot már készítik, Power kapitány biztos visszatér). Persze emellett akad egy jóadag, aminek szintén szívesen venném a folytatását.

A Stargate, a Firefly és a Babylon 5 feltámasztását teljes mellszélességgel támogatom. A Stargate esetében én is valami olyasféle megoldást várnék, mint amit Merras, egy crossover film, ami megágyaz a negyedik sorozatnak. A Babylon 5 esetében egy pár száz éves ugrást választanék, mondjuk Sheridan utáni időszakra, ebbe például remekül belepasszolnának a már megöregedett szereplők, ugyanakkor az univerzum új lehetőségeket is kaphatna. A Firefly… Nos, bár a sorozat folytatható lenne a Serenity legénysége nélkül is, de inkább ne. A hölgyeknek nincs félnivalója, a srácok közül meg egyedül Fillionnak kéne leadnia pár kilót, amit Castle-ként feltett, ami nem lehetetlen.

Én még feltámasztanám a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine-t, hiszen az elsődleges univerzumban is rengeteg lehetőség van még, ott a komplett Gamma-kvadráns felvedezetlenül, az Alfa-kvadráns jövőjének kérdése, ráadásul igazán az űrállomás története sincs lezárva, hiszen Sisko azzal búcsúzott, hogy még visszatér, ráadásul az állomás kereskedelmi és diplomáciai mivolta miatt remek lehetőségeket nyitna crossoverekre, így azért néha-néha találkozhatnánk az egykori Voyager és az Enterprise-E legénységével is.

Szívesen látnék egy SeaQuest feltámadást, noha maga a sorozat, különösen a vége felé nem volt éppen eget rengető, már a tény, hogy egy tengeralattjárón játszódik is kuriózummá teszi. Ráadásul a SeaQuest 2032 éppen akkor lett elkaszálva, amikor kezdett egy érdekes világ kibontakozni.

Ezek mellett szívesen venném a Terra Nova és a Defying Gravity visszahozását, mert mindkettőt pofátlan módon hagyták abba. Az előbbi végre egy olyan sorozat volt, ami a szabadban, színes környezetben játszódott, vidám, kalandosabb történettel, nem pedig szürke, sötét falak között érfelvágós hangulattal megáldva. Az utóbbinak meg akkor lett végre, amikor végre válaszokat kaptunk volna, miközben szintén egy igen egyedi sorozat volt.

Újat én sem nagyon tudok mondani, bár én inkább kitörölném az SGU rémélményét, mintsem folytassam, szerintem hagyjuk a hullát csendesen szenderegni…. Induljunk inkább a Stargate Atlantis hatodik évadával, aztán lépjünk le az egésszel egy új galaxisba, új gonoszokkal és poénos szereplőkkel, akik két szemöldökhúzás között mindig megmentik a világot. Az se baj, ha Richard Dean Anderson is megjelenik benne.

Remek lenne látni a Terra Nova folytatását is, mert van benne spiritusz, ráadásul kifejezetten családi sorozat, éljenek a dínók. És ha már dinoszauruszok, jöhetne a Primeval New World második évada is, az új csapat is a szívemhez nőtt. Ráadásul időutazás, amiért egészen odavagyok. Ha azzal a pofátlansággal folytatnák, mint amivel az angol Primeval futott, nos, akkor kiváltképp jó lenne látni új szériákat.

Egyetértek Dzséjttel, a Defying Gravity is méltatlanul lett elkaszálva. Hihetetlen módon már a beharangozásakor megbukott (ki volt az az elmebeteg, aki azt hitte, hogy a “Gray’s Anatomy az űrben” szlogen működni fog???), pedig végre egy klasszikus sci-fi is kikerült a képernyőre. Hihetetlen jól építették fel a Flash Forwardot, amit sajna az első évad második felére kicsit hozzá kellett butítani a tengerentúli piachoz. Ezzel együtt is tetszett, tegyük fel, hogy Mark Benford nyomozó túlélte azt az ugrást, és tovább nyomoz…

Most, hogy belelendültem, hirtelen több cím is eszembe jutott, aminek remegve várnám a folytatását, ha beharangoznák. Ilyen például az Euréka, amin rettenetesen jókat lehetett szórakozni, és néha igazán megdöbbentő megoldásokhoz nyúltak a forgatókönyvírók. Kérném a Life on Mars második évadát is, közvetlen azután, hogy az első évad lezárását kidobtuk a szemétbe. Természetesen itt az amerikai verzióról beszélek. Az angol sem volt rossz, de sci-fis lehetőség több volt az US-verzióban. Minisorozatként indult és fejeződött be 2006-ban a nálunk három részben vetített (másutt hat epizódos) Lost Room. Volt benne “kraft”, három-négy minisorozatos folytatás még bőven elviselhető lett volna belőle. Annyi tárgy elveszhet egy elveszett szobából!

Na jó, a végére egy – szerintem hazai pályán ismeretlen – egy évados sorozat maradt. Fogalmam sincs, mi felé vezették volna, ha berendelik a második-harmadik évadot, de a John Doe alapötlete zseniális volt – egy ember, aki mindent (!) tud, kivéve azt, ki is ő tulajdonképpen. Ráadásul tapétaszaggató cliffhangerrel zárták le az évadot, hogy törjön rá a csuklás arra, aki nem írta alá a folytatást.

Negyediknek már nehéz újat mondani… Lelőtték az összes poént, felsoroltak szinte minden olyan sorozatot, amelynek a méltatlan elmeszelése avagy törvényszerű befejeződése olyan űrt hagyott maga után, hogy már a folytatás gondolatától is megdobban a szívem. Az egyik ilyen természetesen a Firefly, még akkor is, ha Nathan Fillion már nem nyújtana olyan látványt meztelenül, mint az Trash című epizódban. Még azon az áron is benne lennék a folytatásban, hogy teljesen új legénység kalandozzon a Serenityn, csak maradjon meg az űrszekerek szót újraértelmező western-SF hibrid hangulat. Vissza a tehéncsordákat az űrhajókra!

Az SG sorozatból a Universe okozta trauma után inkább az Atlantisz folytatását várnám, csak maradt néhány kósza lidérc vagy replikátor a széles világűrben, nem is beszélve mindenféle egyéb rémes lényről, amibe egy repülő ős várossal bele lehetne botlani. De ami igazán izgatna, az egy új SG sorozat, egy előtörténet a kapuk építésének koráról és mondjuk a felemelkedés előtt álló ősökről. A sorozatokban elhintett morzsák alapján szinte látom a zseniális, de elbizakodott, arrogáns ősi embereket, a négy faj szövetségét, és kapuknak köszönhetően összezsugorodó galaxist.

Star Trek folytatást meg ki ne akarna? Nekem az voltaképpen mindegy is lenne, melyik sorozatot élesztik fel, egészen egyszerűen örülnék, ha J. J. Abramsféle mozifilmek mellékhatásaként a régi epizódok jó kis sztorijaival és a mai-modern sorozatok látványvilágával születne valami új. Mondjuk olyan DS9-os kevesebb felfedezőút, erősebb karakterek, több politika vonallal. És ezzel már majdnem a Babylon 5-nél tartunk…

A sok nagy klasszikus, sokszor visszasírt sorozat mellett, ha választani lehetne még egy személyes kedvencet, a Torchwood-ot kérném vissza, akár a már bevált minisorozat formájában. A Doctor Who spin-offjaként készült BBC sorozat kihagyhatatlanul drámai, komoly és komor volt, ráadásul a készítők üdítő módon nem kombináltak azon, hogy mi lesz a korhatár besorolással, ha mondjuk, homoerotikus jelenetek is vannak. A cardiffi téridő repedésben bőven van még fantázia, főleg ha Russel T. Davies ülne a folytatás alkotói székébe is, és tovább feszegetné a húsbavágó kérdéseket emberségről, életről, szexualitásról.

  3. Babylon5, Firefly, Stargate… Ebben a sorrendben. És persze, valami jóféle Star Trek… Nekem pl. a legutolsó, az Enterprise is bejött. 🙂

  5. Én a “LOST”-hoz hasonló sorozatot készítenék -ha lenne rá mód-, csak az űrben elveszve, bár ez sablonos de lehetne játszani a fantáziával, egy kis dimenzió kanyarulat stb stb stb. és ott az időutazás, ami mindig hoz valami jót újat, sőt lenne benne még űrzombi is 🙂

  13. mi sem egyszerűbb, Stargate 🙂 valóban elgondolkodtató lenne egy sorozat az ősök és lidércek közötti háború előzményeiről és kimeneteléről,ami által eljutottak a Tejútra, ahol szintén lehetne egy gonosz faj, (nehogy unalmas legyen nálunk az élet), ami a 4 faj szövetségre lépéséről szólna és az ellenség legyőzéséről, egészen a Goa’uldok felemelkedéséig

  18. Stargate Universe, imádtam, és nagyon lecsapták. Másik ilyen az Űrháború 2063 (Space – Above and Beyond). Nagyon-nagyon szerettem és ordít a végéről, hogy ezt folytatni kell!

  22. A Batlestar Galacticát én személy szerint azért nem említettem, mert szvsz úgy kerek a cucc, ahogy van. Ehhez nem tudott hozzátenni sem a Caprica, sem a BSG Chrome. Én meg vagyok békélve azzal, hogy a BSG-nek van eleje, közepe és vége is.

    ST: Enterprise! Tényleg, ez ki is ment a fejemből. Azt is szívesen néztem volna tovább… de hát az is esélytelen már. A legutóbbi hírek szerint viszont Scott Bakulának lesz egy új sorozata 🙂

  27. Star Trek, BSG, de az olyanokról sem szabad megfeledkezni, mint a Wolverine and the X-Men, meg a Young Justice. Mindkettőt pont akkor hagyták abba, amikor kezdett érdekes lenni.

  28. A BSG remek sorozat volt, de nekem húsz évenként elég egy olyan széria, ami a reklámszünet előtt, mintegy mellékesen fejbelövi a legkedvelhetőbb szereplőt.

Torchwood!!! az utolsó évad még kiáltozik is a folytatásért, de visszatérhetnénk a rendes epizódos felbontásra. de szerintem a Terra Nova is cuki volt. aminek még úgy örülne a lelkem, az a Sliders, mondjuk az jó rég volt már, mehetne új szereplőgárdával, vagy ilyesmi.

  33. Stargate Universe, nyilvánvalóan. Az SG-1-ban már nem maradt sok lehetőség (Lucian szövetség, meg max. furlingek), az SG-A-ból meg egy mozifilm még kifér, aztán kész. És másik jelöltem a Torchwood. Csodálkozom, hogy még senki sem említette, talán nem szeretitek?

    Én a Stargate sorozatot bővíteném. Nem a Stargate Universe-t mert az megbukott, hanem a régi CSK1-es csapatot. Vagy az Atlantist, de a régi CSK1-től nincs jobb. Vagy az X-files sorozatot.

  36. Firefly, Babylon 5 + Crusade, Stargate, Star Trek Enterprise kaphatna pár plusz évadot és egy méltóbb lezárást, Defying Gravity, Dark Angel, Space – Above and Beyond mindenképpen, és a Torchwoodot is szívesen nézném még.
    Amit még más nem említett: The Middleman. Ez is épp csak egy évadot ért meg, és bár készült hozzá egy képregényes lezárás, illetve a forgatókönyvet felolvasták a színészek a Comic Conon anno, de még annyi lehetőség lett volna abban a sorozatban.

    Nyírjatok ki, de tény, hogy a Firefly színészeinek a java része már nem lenne ideális a saját szerepére (vagy kinyírták a filmben). Viszont mi a bánatért ne lehetne egy új crew akár? A régi csapat meg vissza-visszatérhetne epizódszerepekre. Ez is egy opció volna, ha velük nem jönne össze, és ez is nagyon, nagyon nagyot szólna. /Persze az igazi egyértelműen az eredeti legénység volna, de Fillion is többször nyilatkozna, miért lenne lehetetlen. Pedig a Fireflyt azonnal újra kellene startolni, nem a Hősökkel bohóckodni…/

    Stargate : ez egyértelmű – új sorozat kellene, mert a régi díszleteket már mind lebontották és eladták, így nem is lehetne a Universet lezárni. Én simán néznék új SG-1 vagy Atlantis évadot is, de ez soha nem fog megtörténni már. 🙁

    Babylon 5 : A Lost Talesre JMS 2 millió dollárt (!!!!) kapott, ami egy vicc. Adjanak neki egy normális pénzmagot, hogy 1-2 DVD filmben kipróbálhassa magát, aztán ha sikeres lenne, akkor jöhetne az új B5 spinoff. A szépen felépített világot azonban beárnyékolja, hogy rengeteg ismertebb színész elhunyt az elmúlt években. 🙁

    FarScape : a Guardian of Galaxy sikere talán majd megint ráirányítja a figyelmet, mert én nagyon megszerettem idővel ezt a stílust. Állítólag terveznek egy új DVD filmet, mintha legutóbb erről írtak volna a GateWorldön. Korábban pedig netsorozat hírét is belengették a rajongók előtt.

    Earth 2 (Föld 2) : én imádtam ezt a sorozatot, de egy évad az nagyon kevés volt. Ráadásul tele volt olyan arcokkal, akiket később más sorozatokban is szívesen foglalkoztattak.

    X-akták spin-off : egy megújult koncepcióval, amikor végre mutatnának is valamit….. Ma már jó CGI-vel sokkal félelmetesebb dolgokat is be tudnának dobni.

    SeaQuest : szerettem, de ott a lehetőségek eléggé beszűkültek.

  40. A Firefly kétségtelenül folytatásért kiállt…mit kiállt, üvölt! Amit még szívesen néztem volna a kaszáltak közül, az az Outcasts és a Terranova. Már épp elkezdtek volna érdekesen bonyolódni, mire levették őket a műsorról. Ami pedig élő szereplős sorozatért ordít – szerintem – az a Star Wars. Lehetőleg az alvilág, a csepészek, fejvadászok és hasonló elemek szemszögéből.

    Hááát! Én igazán egyiket sem éleszetném fel! A legtöbb unalmas agymenés olyan dolgokról, amelyek teljes mértékig kitalált helyzetekből adódnak.
    A Heroes (számomra) teljesen zavaros volt a kezdetektől fogva, a Firefly végtelenségig túlhúzott, értelmetlen mese-sorozat, sőt, még a Star Trek is (Deep Space Nine és Enterprise) olyan érdektelen történetek halmaza, amelyek nem tudtak lekötni.
    Nekem egyedül az angol Doctor Who, amelyik bejött. Szeretem a karaktereket, a látvány változatosságát. Már az első újraindított széria is nagyszerű volt, ahol Christopher Eccleston (Doctor) és Billie Piper (Rose Tyler) játszotta a főszerepet. Eccleston nagyszerű játéka volt az, ami miatt érdekelni kezdett a sorozat. (Ezért nem értem, sokan miért nem szerették őt ebben a szerepben, hiszen nemcsak nagyszerűen játszott, de egy sajátos karaktert is adott a sorozatnak.)

    A Blastr pár nappal ezelőtt azt írta, hogy a Farscape-re van némi esély. Állítólag készül egy forgatókönyv John és Aeryn gyerekével a főszerepben.

    Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Valóban! Bár Andy Vajna sokszor elmondta, mennyire rossz és elhibázott volt a koncepció. Szerintem meg nem, sőt, a második évad végére eléggé jó lett, izgalmas és különleges. Kár érte!

    A Firefly érdemtelenül el lett temetve, azzal illene kezdeni valamit.
    Valami újban is lehetne gondolkodni. Ott van az egész Star wars monumentális univerzuma, amivel nem kezdenek semmit! A Rakata Végtelen Birodalom. A Tho Yor piramis hajók, és a Je’daii Rend kialakulása. A Köztársaság megalakulása. A jedi egyházszakadások. A Tionese Háború. A tizenhét alsakani konfliktus. Xim és a hutt háború.
    A Sith-ek. Az átlag néző semmit sem tud róluk. Többek között azt sem, hogy a sith eredetileg egy humanoid faj megnevezése volt, és varázslóik eredetileg nem voltak gonoszak, csak sötét jedik megrontották őket.
    A Pius Dea Éra. Amihez képest a mozifilmek Birodalma andalító gyerekmese.
    A mandalóriaiak. Szintén semmit nem tud róluk az átlag.
    A Száz Éves Sötétség és a száműzött sötét jedik. Akik később elrontják a sith-eket, és ez később egy rakás pusztító háborúhoz vezet.
    A Nagy Hiperűr Háború. A Nagy Sith Háború. A Mandalóriai Háború ahol mindennapos volt a nukleáris bombázás. Az ezt követő Jedi Polgárháború, aminek a végén alig több mint száz jedi maradt. Ezekhez a háborúkhoz képest a Klónháború játszótéri homokdobálásnak tűnik. És még sorolhatnám. Vagy 40-50 évadra való anyag áll rendelkezésre.
