Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – 1. évad kritika

Az Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. a premierjekor nem tűnt többnek, mint egy NCIS-sorozat, amiben több a szuper kütyü és feltűnnek benne különleges képességű emberek. Kedd esti matinésorozat, olyasféle, amit nem azért néz az ember, mert hűde nagyon hanyatt vágja a sztori, hanem mert kikapcsolja. Kedvelhetőek voltak a karakterek, könnyedek és poénosak a sztorik, és mindig kaptunk valami kis szuperhősös kikacsintást, kütyüt vagy szereplőt, hétről hétre egy újabb üggyel. Látszólag semmi extra.
Csak innét visszanézve döbben rá az ember, mekkora tévedés ez, hiszen sok apró extrát elrejtettek már a korai epizódokban. Például, aki megnézte az utolsó epizódot, a Beginning of the Endet, az nézze meg újra az 1×04 Eye-Spy című részt, és ámuljon, mire talál rá Ward ügynök. S ez csak egy olyan apróság, amit majd a nemrég berendelt második évadban fognak kifejteni, rengeteg más dolog az első szezon folyamán teljesedett ki.
Az Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. alattomosan építette fel az évadon végigfutó szálat, olyan alattomosan, hogy mire az ember észbekapott, már nyakig benne volt. Pedig a sorozat producerei már az első epizódnál tudták, mi lesz Steve Rogers kalandjának végkifejlete, és bizony az egész évadot erre a fordulatra építették fel. Mindezt azért, hogy aztán ne nézzük fapofával, hogyan rombolják le az egészet.
A sorozat nem tagadta meg képregényes eredetét sem. Az elején ugyan erőltetetten utalgatnak a filmekre, de a készítők később ebben a kérdésben is megtalálták a helyes utat. Nem csak szóbeli utalások történnek, hanem becsatlakozunk a Thor 2 és az Amerika kapitány 2 következményeibe, feltűnnek filmes szereplők, és ami még jobb, érkeztek szereplők a képregényekből.
Stan Lee anno azt mondta: „egy esernyő lehetne, ami alá rengeteg szuperhős bejöhet. Még nem igazán tették meg, de azt hiszem, előbb-utóbb meglépik.” Igaza volt, tényleg meglépték. Victoria Hand, John Garrett, Glenn Talbot, Eric Koenig, Donnie Gill és Deathlok, ezek mind olyan képregényes karakterek, amiket az Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., nem pedig az egyik mozifilm mesélt be a Marvel-moziverzumba. Emellett természetesen megjelennek eszközök, események, szervezetek is, ráadásul ezek terén ugyanúgy vannak átfedések a mozifilmek és a televíziós sorozat között.
Mindezek ellenére az Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. érthető a filmek, képregények ismerete nélkül. Még az említett Amerika kapitány 2 kapcsolatot sem kell feltétlen ismerni, mert az epizódokban elmagyarázzák, hogy s miként történt, ami történt – bár tény, hogy sokkal több pluszt az az évad, ha például tudjuk, milyen idegen űrhajó roncsai miatt szöszölnek hőseink Londonban, vagy kicsoda Donnie Gill.
Az egyetlen, amire talán kicsit jobban rágyúrhattak volna a készítők, az a látvány. Oké, valószínűleg senki sem vár el mozi szintű trükköket, de néha kifejezetten sivárak az epizódok. Ez főleg akkor érhető tetten, amikor valamilyen S.H.I.E.L.D.-létesítményben zajlanak az események. A Hub, a Providence, a Fridge, ezeket csupán egy-két pillanatra látjuk kívülről, aztán csak a szürke, alulbútorozott, unalmas folyosóin bandukolunk. A Csillagkapu Parancsnokság folyosóin több élet volt, pedig az egy betonkocka.
Ezt leszámítva az Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. remekül kinőtte kezdeti gyermekbetegségeit, és vált valami sokkal jobbá.
