Zsivány Egyes kritika – Spoilermentes
Hogy a Zsivány Egyes az annyira jó film lenne, mint A Birodalom visszavág, az túlzás. De azért nem is megalapozatlan Kevin Smith lelkesedése, abszolút megbocsátható neki ez a túlzó jellemzés. A Rogue One ugyanis van annyira jó, hogy szerintem nagyon sok rajongónak ez lesz A Kedvenc Star Wars filmje.
Pedig majdnem olyan döcögősen indult a produkció, mint annak idején az első Csillagok Háborúja: aggasztó volt, hogy a Fantastic Fourral nagyot bukó Josh Trankre bízták eredetileg a rendezést, aggasztó volt, hogy aztán gyorsan le is cserélték. Számomra nem volt megnyugtató az sem, hogy Gareth Edwards ülhetett be a helyére: anno én nem dicsértem agyon a Godzilla filmjét. Aztán jöttek a hírek mindenféle utóforgatásokról, meg hogy viccesebbé akarják tenni az alapvetően komor, háborús művet – jelentem, ha igazak ezek a pletykák, akkor ezzel jót tettek a filmnek.
Minden aggodalom ellenére állati jó lett a végeredmény. Valamint, sikerült bizonyítani pár tételt:
- lehet jó Star Wars filmet csinálni anélkül, hogy Skywalkerekről, azok rokonairól, barátairól és üzletfeleiről szólna
- még akár úgy is, hogy a főszereplő rokoni viszonyai az első perctől kezdve tök egyértelműek
- a főszereplőknek nem kell a Star Wars univerzum elitjéhez tartozniuk, az átlagemberekkel is történhetnek izgalmas és hősies események a messzi-messzi Galaxisban
- közönségkedvenccé váló, imádnivalóan cuki asztromechek nélkül is működik egy Star Wars film
- nem muszáj Jediket sem szerepeltetni
A fentiekkel együtt is sikerült egy ízig-vérig Star Wars hangulatú filmet összehozni, anélkül, hogy rókabőrnyúzásnak tűnne a dolog. Egyszerre Csillagok Háborúja, de egyszerre más is, mint az eddig megszokott filmek.
Amit nagyon sikerült elkapni az eredeti filmből, az a rosszul felszerelt, koszos, esélytelen lázadó banda küzdelme a profi gépezetként működő Birodalom ellen. Erre még sikerült is rájátszani azzal, hogy a felkelők mellett nincs egyetlen fénykardforgató sem. Emellett persze telepakolták mindenféle utalásokkal és kameokkal is, amik összekötik a korábbi filmekkel a Zsivány Egyest. Valljuk be, hogy ezeknek egy igen jelentős része dramaturgiai szempontból tök felesleges, simán kihagyható lenne – de szerintem egyetlen egy rajongó sem lesz, aki ezek miatt elkérné a panaszkönyvet. Inkább örül magában, hogy ezek bekerültek.
Valójában például Darth Vader is totál kihagyható lenne a cselekményből – de nagyon jó, hogy mégis sikerült megoldani a szerepeltetését. Nagyon-nagyon rövid időre tűnik csak fel, de azok a jelenetek tökéletesre sikerültek. Ennyi év után sikerült ismét elérni, hogy megborzongjunk tőle – már csak ezért is érdemes volt elkészíteni a filmet, de komolyan.
Viszont van sok-sok elem, amiben más a Rogue One, mint a korábbi filmek. Maga a nézőpontváltás a legfontosabb ezek közül. Az összes korábbi filmben a legnagyobb hősök küzdelmeit láthattuk – az átlag katona tömegjelenetekben, statisztaként tűnt fel. Hogy milyen a lövészárok mocskában küzdeni a következő három percnyi túlélésért… nos, az egy olyan új színfolt, amiért tényleg érdemes volt megcsinálni ezt a filmet. Erő, fénykard, felspécizett Millenium Falcon, és minden egyéb nélkül helyt állni – hát, kihívás.
Hja, és ilyenkor kiderül az is, hogy a rohamosztagosok mégsem béna balfaszok gyülekezete, akik nem tudnak két lépésről eltalálni egy bolygót se.
Ez a helyzet remekül visszaköszön a látványvilágban is. Sikerült összemixelni a háborús filmek nézőpontját a klasszikus Star Wars látványával. Az eredmény: valamennyi film közül itt sikerült összehozni a legdurvább, legütősebb, leghosszabb csatát. Akár a légi vagy űrharcokat, akár pedig a földön játszódó ütközeteket nézzük. Gareth Edwars valahol lenyilatkozta, hogy az ő kedvence A Birodalom visszavág hoth-i csatája volt – gyerekként ő legalább fél órásnak érzékelte, pedig visszanézve nem is olyan hosszú. Hát, innentől kezdve elmondhatja magáról, hogy sikerült felülmúlnia a nagy kedvencet.
A másik nagy erénye a Zsivány Egyesnek, hogy szépen árnyalja a Lázadók Szövetségéről kialakult képet. Az eredeti trilógiában értelemszerűen fekete-fehér volt a kép: a Birodalom ellen küzdők értelemszerűen hősök, az abszolút jófiúk, akik ha kell, életüket áldozzák a galaxis népeiért.
Ez a film azonban hajlandó leásni a csillogó felszín alá. És a mélyben bizony csúnya dolgok vannak. A cél szentesíti az eszközt-mentalitás. Gyilkosságok, morálisan megkérdőjelezhető parancsok, olyan radikális csapatok, akikkel már nem is feltétlenül akar közösséget vállalni a felkelés. Egyes esetekben bizony kicsit ködös a határ az igazságos harcot vívó forradalmár és a bérgyilkos, vagy akár a terrorista között. Fontos konfliktus ez a filmben, anélkül, hogy túlságosan bélyeget nyomna a Star Wars-hangulatra.
Alapvetően egy, A piszkos tizenkettőre hajazó háborús akciófilmet kapunk a Star Wars univerzumába helyezve – és működik. Annak ellenére, hogy vannak azért hibák. Ahogy a zenétől sem. Michael Giacchino tisztességes iparosmunkát végzett, ha az IKEA árulna STÄR WÄRS zenéket, az tuti ilyen lenne. Használható, funkcionális, némi anyázással otthon össze lehetne rakni, és a világon még tízezer háztartásban lenne hasonló. Pedig John Williams nélkül is lehet jellegzetesen jó, és új dallamokat rakni Star Wars alá – annak idején például a Knights of the Old Republic című játékban ez sikerült. De ne legyünk telhetetlenek, én már annak örültem, hogy a zenéről nem ugrott be a Star Trek – amikor a Doctor Strange alatt a zenéről Kirk és az Enterprise villant be, az idegesített.
Összességében véve örülök a Zsivány Egyesnek, meg tudnám szokni, ha ezentúl minden karácsonyra jönne egy hasonló színvonalú Star Wars film. Jó úton halad a Disney-Lucasfilm: míg az Ébredő Erő az sikeresen felidézte a régi hangulatot, addig az idei produkció óvatosan, de új irányba lépett. Bízom benne, hogy a készítők egyre bátrabban fognak új dolgokkal kísérletezni – és a rajongók is vevők lesznek rá.
