Minisorozat készül John Scalzi Redshirts című regényéből

Amerikában 2012-ben jelent meg a hazánkban a Vének háborúja című sorozatáról ismert John Scalzi sci-fi komédiája, a Redshirts. Ebből készít minisorozatot az FX produkciós cég.

A történet fő vonásában a Galaxy Questre emlékeztet: a világ egyik legsikeresebb tévésorozatát, a Star Trek-et parodizálja. A 25. században öt újonc fog össze, hogy megfejtsék az Intrepid űrhajó rejtélyét. A hajó ugyanis arról híres, hogy a flotta többi hajójához képest kiemelkedően magas a halálozási arány, a parancsnoki személyzet küldetésein a kísérők jó eséllyel valami elképesztő és szörnyű módon veszítik el életüket. A regény elnyerte a 2013-as Hugo-díjat.

A könyvből az FX készít minisorozatot, Jon Shestack produceri felügyelete alatt, Ken Kwapis rendezésében.

John Scalzi regényeit magyarul az Agave adja ki, információink szerint a Redshirts is rajta van a listájukon, de egyelőre nincs kitűzött megjelenési dátum. Idén tavasszal egyébként a The Human Division, a Vének háborúja sorozat eleddig utolsó kötete fog magyarul megjelenni tőle.
