Justice League tévés módra: Crisis on Earth-X – kritika

Eljött az a pillanat, amikor ugyanabban a műsorszámban egy tévés produkció lazán és könnyedén agyonver egy csilliárd dolláros mozifilmet. Lényegében majdnem mindenben, amiben gyengélkedett Az Igazság Ligája, abban remekelni tudott az Arrowverse két estés tévéeseménye, a Crisis on Earth-X. Egészen elképesztő, hogy a DC berkein belülről két hét alatt két, ennyire eltérő színvonalú produkció jut el a közönséghez.

A Justice League egyik fő problémáját abban láttam, hogy hajuknál előrángatott karakterekkel próbáltak egy saját Avengers-t összerakni a Warnernél. Nagyon gyorsan akartak haladni: letudni Batman összecsapását Superman-nel, pikkpakk összerántani egy szuperhős csapatot, akik majd közösen lepofoznak valami übergonoszt.

Csakhogy ennek az előkészítése nem történt meg úgy, ahogy a Marvel esetében: ott voltak különálló filmek, amik csak az adott hősökről és azok társairól szóltak, volt idő megkedvelni mindegyiket – és sokkal természetesebben össze lehetett őket ereszteni egy közös csetepatéra.

Nagycsaládosok

Nos, ez a probléma értelemszerűen nem létezik egy olyan crossover esetében, ahol négy tévésorozat szereplőgárdája zsúfolódik össze mintegy három órányi közös kalandra. És nem csak a Green Arrow, a Flash, Supergirl, meg a Legends of Tomorrow legénysége, hanem a tágabb család is: megoldották, hogy szó szerint a sorozatok összes főbb szereplőjének jut legalább egy olyan jelenet, amiben ragyoghat.

Ez legalább két tucat karaktert jelent a négy sorozatból.

Van is emiatt zsúfoltság a képernyőkön, megkockáztatom, hogy talán a kevesebb több lett volna ebben az esetben… de akkor meg lehet, hogy lemaradtunk volna néhány nagyszerű, váratlan és egyébként nagyon valószínűtlen keveredésről a különböző csapatok tagjai között. Ha tippelnem kéne, azért jövőre szerintem egy picit vissza fognak venni a szereplők számából – idén mindenesetre minden rajongó megtalálja legalább egy pillanatra a kedvenceit.

Ahogy annak idején az Avengerst, úgy a Crisis on Earth-X-et is leginkább az viszi el a hátán, hogy a különböző karakterek mit szólnak be egymásnak, hogyan dolgoznak együtt, vagy épp mennyire morculnak be egymásra – a fő sztori meg igazából másodlagossá válik.

Náculni rossz, értem?

És hát ez hatványozottan igaz erre a négy epizódos crossoverre is. A fő sztorit igazából összefoglalták az előzetesek: Barry Allen végre eljut az esküvője napjáig, amire persze meghívja az összes szuperhős haverját, meg azok segítőit. Én azt mondanám, hogy egy ilyen esküvőt megtámadni a világ legpocsékabb ötlete, a legepikusabb módja annak, hogy valaki házhoz menjen a pofonért – de hát mindig van néhány arrogáns szupergonosz, aki azt hiszi, hogy ez a koncepció valójában zseniális.

És tulajdonképpen nem is tévednek akkora nagyot, elvégre ezek a szupergonoszok egy olyan alternatív Földről jönnek, ahol a nácik győztek, és Hitler halálát követően fennmaradt a Harmadik Birodalom – már csak azért is, mert a szuperhőseink ottani gonosz alteregói segédkeznek a fenntartásában. Ebből mondjuk lehetne egy fasza kis szuperhősös Ember a fellegvárban-sztorit csinálni, de ilyesmire meg túlságosan szűk ez a 4×45 perc. Kár érte, mert így csak annyi marad, hogy néhány snittben látunk felhőkarcolókat óriási náci zászlókkal az oldalukon, meg hallunk néhány leegyszerűsített mondatot arról, hogy a gonoszok szerint miért egy náci birodalom a legfrankóbb dolog a szeletelt kenyér feltalálása óta. (Spoiler alert: a szeletelt kenyér sokkal frankóbb.)

Szóval maga a kerettörténet nem sokkal bonyolultabb annál, hogy néhány komoly döccenőt követően kedvenc hőseink akkurátusan laposra fognak verni egy halom nácit. Viszont náciverést nézni még mindig jópofa dolog, ez szerintem egy ideig nem fog kimenni a divatból, és ezt a dolgot egészen jó kivitelezi a csapat.

Elő volt ez készítve rendesen

Ami miatt a faék egyszerűségű sztori ellenére is működik ez a négy epizód, az az előkészítettség. A forgatókönyvírók meg a színészek is ismerik a karaktereiket – ez igazából nem elmondható a Justice League esetében.

De az is egyértelmű, hogy mind a négy sorozat idei szezonjában készültek erre a crossoverre: jó példa erre Alex Danvers a Supergirlből. A forgatókönyvírók már a szezon első felét úgy írták meg, hogy Alex személyes története pont ott tartson, ahol tartott – hogy aztán a crossoverben jöjjön egy meglepő csavar vele kapcsolatban. De ugyanez a helyzet a Firestormot alkotó Jefferson-Martin párossal is, vagy épp Oliver és Felicity kapcsolatának alakulásával.

Azaz, látszódik, hogy olyan elképesztő tudatosan rákészültek a forgatókönyvírók erre a négy epizódra, amire még nem volt példa. Úgy biztosan nem, hogy négy sorozatban kellett előre eligazgatni a szálakat, hogy majd jó legyen.

Minisorozattá vált esemény

Az Arrowverse történetében nem ez az első crossover, de mégis most ért be a sorozatok eddigi fejlődése. Már a Flasht is jól felvezették a korábbi Arrow szezonban, sőt a Legends of Tomorrow önmagában is a korábbi két sorozatban megismert karakterekre épült. Az eddigi, szezonközepi crossovereket viszont még más stílusban próbálták meg elmesélni: inkább két vagy három epizódra tördelt történetek voltak ezek, ahol az egyes darabokat az adott sorozat stílusában alkották meg. Így a történet borongósabb része jutott az Arrow epizódjára, a könnyedebb meg a Flashre. És amennyire lehetett, az aktuális darabot igyekeztek az adott sorozat főhőseinek szemszögéből elmondani.

Ezt a töredezettséget idén felszámolták, és inkább úgy forgatták le, mintha egy különálló mozifilm, vagy minisorozat lenne. Erre még azzal is ráerősítettek, hogy nem négy, egymást követő estén vetítették le, hanem összerakták két estére. Jó döntés volt.

Verdikt

Egyáltalán nem azt mondom, hogy tökéletes a végeredmény – a látványt illetően például azért még érződnek a tévésorozatos büdzsé keretei. És az említett túlzsúfoltsággal is majd kell valamit kezdeniük jövőre. Idén szerintem kimaxolták amit lehetett, ennél esetlegesen több szereplőt már nem hiszem, hogy elbírna ez az esemény. És persze örülnék annak, ha a tavalyi „jönnek a gonosz űrlények”, és az idei „jönnek a gonosz nácik” történetek után jönne valami, ami egy fokkal kreatívabb.

Összességében véve azonban jól megmutatta, hogy hogyan kell megcsinálni egy ilyen szuperhős csapatépítő tréninget. Az a helyzet, hogy a Marvel tévésorozatok bizony tanulhatnának az Arrowverse-től, merthogy a Crisis on Earth-X bizony köröket ver rá a The Defenders-re is. Nagyon érdekes azt látni, hogy míg a moziban a Marvel mellett nem tud labdába rúgni a DC, addig a tévéképernyőkön pont fordított a helyzet: a Netflixes sorozatok vagy az Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. az jóindulattal is csak másodhegedűs tud maradni.

    Szerintem a CW szokásához híven egy igénytelen szappanoperát csinált ebből a crossoverből.

    Az állítás első felével egyetértek, viszont a második felével nem. A netflixes marvel sorozatok és a S.H.I.E.L.D. több szempontból is sokkal jobban átgondolt, rendezett sorozat, mint bármelyik CW -féle tiniknek készült szuperhősös nyavajgás. Milyen szempontokra gondolok? Pl. Bármelyik marvel sorozatban (Inhumans sorozattal nem foglalkozok, mert irtózatosan gagyi) lévő harcjelenet sokkal jobban meg lett rendezve, mint a CW összes sorozatának harcjeleneteit együttvéve. Vagy pl. Történet szempontjából a CW sorozatai évadról évadra ugyanazt a sztorit adják elő. Ha már a történetnél járunk, akkor Reverse Flash hogy lehetett ott crossover epizódban, ha a Legends of Tomorrow 2. évadjának végén meghalt? A crossoverben is csak ennyi volt a válasz rá.:”Ez időutazás, Barry.” Még csak meg se próbálták megmagyarázni, annyira nem gondolták át az írók. Homo/leszbi dolgokat is úgy nyomták az arcunkba, hogy az már hányinger volt. Arról meg ne is beszéljünk, hogy akik nem tudnak védekezni a golyózápor elől, azokra egyáltalán nem lőttek.

    Szóval, nem egy nagy szám ez az Arrowverse. (Mondom ezt úgy, hogy az Arrow volt a kedvenc sorozatom a 2.évadig.)

    Jelenleg amúgy az országos képregényes sorozatok közül a
    Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. és Gotham a legjobb.

    Szerintem a nácit mint “kétségbevonhatatlanulnagyongonosz” dolgot tolták túl egy kicsit. Nekem olyasmi volt ez mint a régi Power Rangers sorozat. Voltak a gonosz bossok, a gonosz minionok, meg a jó csapat akik annyira jók, hogy az már egy gyereknél is ijesztő és gyomorforgató. Persze nyilván mit is várjon az ember amerikától meg a píszí felvilágosult liberális CW csatornától mint egy telibetolt jó kövér nácizást. Kreatívabb ellenfelet nem hiszem el, hogy nem találtak.
